Go.Compare launches short-term insurance comparison service for learner drivers
Go. Compare car insurance has announced the launch of its new short-term learner driver comparison service.
The company has partnered with Comparison Creator to become the first comparison site to offer a dedicated panel of insurers for learner drivers, providing quotes from leading insurance brands.
Tom Banks, motoring insurance expert at Go.Compare Car Insurance, commented on the launch: “Learning to drive can be challenging, overwhelming and expensive, so we’re delighted to introduce this service for new motorists looking to get on the road. Bringing together a dedicated panel of insurers in one place makes it easier for learners to compare their options and make well-informed decisions.
“The main benefit of having a panel is that it saves customers time and reduces the effort of running multiple quotes separately. It also gives learners more choice and transparency over what’s available in the market, including the cover, features, benefits and costs of each policy.
“Having the right learner driver insurance is vital for getting the practice needed ahead of a driving test. With some of the industry’s biggest names available through the panel, including Veygo, Safely Insured and Collingwood, this launch reflects our ongoing commitment to improving our services for specific customer needs and raising the standard for clarity, choice and usability across the market.”
Go. Compare already partners with Comparison Creator to power comparison services for gadget, breakdown and mobile phone insurance. Steve Jones, Director of Comparison Creator, adds: “The technology is designed to enable more flexible, tailored comparison experiences, and this launch with Go.Compare is a great example of how together we can support specific customer needs quickly and effectively. By making it easier to access specialist products through a single comparison journey, we’re helping deliver a better experience for customers while supporting innovation across the insurance market.”

About Go.Compare
Go.Compare is a comparison website that enables people to compare the costs and features of a wide variety of insurance policies, financial products and energy tariffs.
It does not charge people to use its services and does not accept advertising or sponsored listings, so all product comparisons are unbiased. Go.Compare makes its money through fees paid by the providers of products that appear on its various comparison services when a customer buys through the site.
When it launched in 2006, it was the first comparison site to focus on displaying policy details rather than just listing prices, with the aim of helping people to make better-informed decisions when buying their insurance. It is this approach to comparing products that secured the company an invitation to join the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) in 2008, and it is still the only comparison site to be a member of this organisation.
Go.Compare has remained dedicated to helping people choose the most appropriate products rather than just the cheapest and works with Defaqto, the independent financial researcher, to integrate additional policy information into a number of its insurance comparison services. This allows people to compare up to an extra 30 features of cover.
Go.Compare is part of Future Plc and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (CA).
