Go.Compare offers So Energy’s Juniper 12-month fixed rate tariff
Energy switching returns with So Energy’s Juniper tariff which is £27 cheaper than the energy price cap on average energy consumption
Go.Compare is now offering So Energy’s Juniper tariff, which is a 12-month fixed energy deal which is £27 cheaper than the energy price cap on average energy consumption. It is available for those customers who pay via monthly direct debit and aren’t on a prepayment meter.
On the Juniper tariff, the estimated annual cost of energy would be £2,047 - £27 cheaper than the current average price cap of £2074.*
So Energy is a renewable energy supplier, offering 100% renewable electricity to its customers from renewable sources like hydro, solar and wind power.
Gareth Kloet, Go.Compare’s energy expert said of the offer: “We are really excited to be able present this limited deal to direct debit customers who are looking for the security of knowing what their energy bills will be for the next 12 months and are looking to switch energy tariffs.
“For those looking for a fixed rate deal this is a great option to consider, as it is below what customers would currently be paying on a standard variable energy tariff, but it is a limited deal so don’t hang around if you want to take advantage of the savings available.
“There are always lots of things to take into consideration when choosing your energy supplier, and lots of ways that you can save money. Using a comparison site to find the best deal for you could help save you money, and with fixed rate deals returning to the market this So Energy tariff is a great example.”
It is important to be aware that like other deals, this So Energy offer does come with £150 early exit fees, £75 for each fuel, if you want to leave So Energy within 12 months of signing up.

About Go.Compare
Go.Compare is a comparison website that enables people to compare the costs and features of a wide variety of insurance policies, financial products and energy tariffs.
It does not charge people to use its services and does not accept advertising or sponsored listings, so all product comparisons are unbiased. Go.Compare makes its money through fees paid by the providers of products that appear on its various comparison services when a customer buys through the site.
When it launched in 2006, it was the first comparison site to focus on displaying policy details rather than just listing prices, with the aim of helping people to make better-informed decisions when buying their insurance. It is this approach to comparing products that secured the company an invitation to join the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) in 2008, and it is still the only comparison site to be a member of this organisation.
Go.Compare has remained dedicated to helping people choose the most appropriate products rather than just the cheapest and works with Defaqto, the independent financial researcher, to integrate additional policy information into a number of its insurance comparison services. This allows people to compare up to an extra 30 features of cover.
Go.Compare is part of Future Plc and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). More information can be found here www.gocompare.com or here https://www.futureplc.com/brands/.
