Go.Compare launches ChatGPT app to help consumers find a great deal on their insurance
Go.Compare has launched its price comparison services via an app on ChatGPT – using AI to search car, van and home insurance providers and help customers to save money on household bills.
The new ChatGPT app allows users to access Go.Compare services directly from the ChatGPT interface and creates a way to search, compare and find deals, without leaving the chat.
To use the app, consumers just need to open the ChatGPT app, click on the Apps section, search for “GoCompare” and connect to the app, adding it to your current chat.
Lee Griffin, Chief Executive of Go.Compare said “Integrating Go.Compare with ChatGPT is an exciting step into AI and provides a new way for customers to find our service.
“Where we hope this will help our customers is by providing quotes in a fraction of the time that it would take previously. From here, they can edit details and, if necessary, re-run quotes via the app.
“Since its inception, Go.Compare has always aimed to push technology to the limit to make things easier for consumers, but without compromising on the cover that people buy.
“We were the first comparison site to compare the product features of a policy and not just price, and it’s that ethos we try to bring to every new technological innovation. We know that speed is key; no one wants to spend more time than they have to on shopping for insurance, but this should never come at a price where cover is compromised.
“By launching a ChatGPT app, we are meeting customers where they are – and we will always do this in a way that protects their interests when it comes to finding the right insurance cover.
“It’s an exciting first step, and we’re looking forward to seeing how it performs and helping people save money even faster and easier than before.”

About Go.Compare
Go.Compare is a comparison website that enables people to compare the costs and features of a wide variety of insurance policies, financial products and energy tariffs.
It does not charge people to use its services and does not accept advertising or sponsored listings, so all product comparisons are unbiased. Go.Compare makes its money through fees paid by the providers of products that appear on its various comparison services when a customer buys through the site.
When it launched in 2006, it was the first comparison site to focus on displaying policy details rather than just listing prices, with the aim of helping people to make better-informed decisions when buying their insurance. It is this approach to comparing products that secured the company an invitation to join the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) in 2008, and it is still the only comparison site to be a member of this organisation.
Go.Compare has remained dedicated to helping people choose the most appropriate products rather than just the cheapest and works with Defaqto, the independent financial researcher, to integrate additional policy information into a number of its insurance comparison services. This allows people to compare up to an extra 30 features of cover.
Go.Compare is part of Future Plc and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
